Avital is one brand of remote starter that features easy-to-use keyless remotes. These remotes can be programmed wirelessly to your engine and then added to your keychain. Once programmed, you will be able to use the remote from as far as a couple hundred feet away in your house, the street or a parking lot. If your remote is not working, you can troubleshoot the remote and get it resynced in seconds.

Enter your car, leave your driver's door open and insert your key into the ignition.

2 Turn the ignition to the "On" position and press and release the "Valet" button on your remote.

Press and hold the "Valet" switch again after releasing the first time and wait for the system's siren to chirp and the LED light to blink.

4 Continue holding the "Valet" button and then press the starter button on your remote.

5 Wait for another chirp and release both buttons to complete the process.

yes the remotes do have batteries. how ever that might be your problem or the remotes lost its code for programing. step when turning alarm off---- if its a factory alarm put the key in the drivers door when the door is closed and lock then unlock it thats the manuel shut down for factory. step 2------- aftermarket alarm. look for a valet switch most likely it would be installed by the driver kick panel or by the under dash fuse box. when u find it put the key into the ignition. turn it to the run position. within 3 seconds press and hold the valet switch for 3 to 5 seconds you should here a confirmation chirp and the led light will stay on solid and wont blink give it a world let me know what happens

Okay, here goes-

1. Turn Key to on position.
2. Push and hold **valet button on the stock radio.
**Valet button is skinny bar located between am/fm & cd/tape buttons on stock radio.
Door locks will cycle one time.
3. Press any button on remote one time within 20 seconds. Door locks will cycle again.
4. To program up to 4 additional remotes repeat step 3 for each additonal remote.
5. Turn key off programming is complete.

yes there is actually if you have a valet switch there is a code you set in that gives you control over setting the keyless remote code i dont have the specs and you would probably have to take to dealership so they could show you how to set up valet switch for keyless entry since i do not have a book for that spec also theres this link that they can help set up over the keyless entry remote by there techs call the number give them alarm model and info on truck
