How do I fix a stuck red seatbelt button?

Red button is stuck down and will not come up. I have tried WD40 and have used a small screwdriver to try and pry it. the metal mechanism works, but the red button stays down, so that the male part does not lock.

You can order the button side of the seat belt from the dealer so the belt color will match.

How do you take the seatbelts off of the middle bench seat on 2001 ford windstar so I can totally remove the seat for hauling purposes? 3rd bench seat is already out.

There's actually a small red button you can easily press with a flat head screwdriver or a penny located at the point where the end of the belt attaches to the seat

Is there a fix for 2001 Honda Accord driver seatbelt retractor that is slow

try moving the belt in and out and use WD40 with pencil nozzle to spray at pivot points and slowly work it in. use small amounts so it does not soak into belt.

Driver seatbelt stuck

Try squirting some type of penetrating oil down where the belt inserts into the lock, then while pushing the release button as hard as you can, wiggle the belt latch up and down as hard as you can. Personally, I like SiliKroil penetrating fluid.

My battery is dead and I can't move the car due to the auto gear shift stuck in park. How do I move the car to get a jump on the battery?

if you look on the center council where the shift lever is you will see a small plastic button on the drivers. Remove the button. Insert a small screwdriver into the hole and push down. You will then be able to move the shift lever into nuetral and push the car.

Well the front driver seat belt no longer goes back it is one of those automatic one in a 1991 Honda Accord LX. The one in the back no longer retracts, so it does no good to try to use it.

Try pulling the belt out all the way, get a vacuum cleaner and try to clean the inside the best you can. Then take a can of WD40 and with the small red nozzel attached to the spray button, spray the WD40 on each of the sides (with the belt pulled out), and let the belt try to retract, keep trying this multiple times and see if it loosens up.

Seatbelt stuck

try shooting some break clean up in there to get rid of the debris that has built up over years, also they could use some lubrication, so if can shoot some wd40 or penetrating lubricant in there two.

Seatbelt won't retract

1)move the plastic cover over the seat belt out of the way to gain access to the two mounting bolts for the seat belt mechanism. Use a 10mm wrench and a 14mm wrench and remove the two bolts holding the seat belt mechanism to the body. Use a small drill bit or small screwdriver and make one hole in the plastic cover on each side of the seat belt mechanism (the covers say "do not remove plastic cover". Spray lots of wd40 in each hole. Then exercise the seat belt. When the mechanism allows the belt to be retracted, retract the belt all the way out and exercise the seat belt. Reinstall mechanism with both mounting screws in original position and put plastic cover back in place. Good luck. New seat belt costs $100.00 from dealer and are hard to find working in junk yards. I have fixed several of them this way.

My driver seatbelt won't click.

There is a fault in the mechanism in the stalk or something is stuck in there (small stone, food etc...)

You can try and see if something is obstructing it and try to get it out with a thin screwdriver or the easiest solution is to get a second hand stalk from a wrecker.

Hope this helps :)
