I replaced the engine belt. I found one of the pulleys messed up and had to replace it also.
You have not mentioned the mileage nor your service record, so here goes.
Three things to try.
1) When did you last change your fuel filter? The symptoms sound like a plugged up filter.
If left untreated, the speed at which it acts up will begin to go down slowly. ( For example, next month it may only run 55.)
2) Have a garage check your fuel pump pressure with a meter.
This part might be failing.
3) Perhaps an obstruction in your fuel tank or the fuel pick-up inside the tank.
God bless your efforts.
Your best bet is to take it to a ASE certified repair shop ! if that's the best description you can give . Take the Tech for a ride an let him see for him self .

If this problem just started I would try to get a jump on it. It will be easier to track down if the light just started coming on. Otherwise other problems may come into play and the mechanic will need longer to sort them out. At around 70.00hr.Cheapest fix is to try and drop in a set of plugs. Good luck.

Check for a clogged fuel filter. A clog could cause a pump to fail.

did you try replacing the radiator cap and the temp sensor?

Hi there,
This problem is most commonly caused by a weak fuel pump. It will need to be checked with a fuel pressure guage. If you can obtain a fuel pressure guage you will need to observe the fuel pressure while accellerating to see if it drops out.
good luck
