How do I remove the front seats of a 2008 Kia Sorento

Removing the front seats should not interfere with the airbags. Remove the 4 bolts on each seat securing it to the floor and any wiring harness connectors that may be located/connected under the seat

Unhook both battery cables and short them together to discharge the capacitor that fires the air bag. Then you need to get in the passenger compartment and look under the seats for any connections that attach to the seat. Disconnect these. You then need to use tools to remove the bolts that hold the seat frames to the body and remove the seats. If you put in different seats or don't have the same connections as the old ones, you will have SRS errors on the BCM and the airbags and tensioners wont work.
