Your freon is getting low again. I had the same thing happen on my 2002 Impala and my Bonneville. For some reason the driver's side is the first to go. It is NOT the climate control or actuator doors.
If it's been a month, it's fairly slow leak, so you could try some freon with leak stopper (or whatever it's called). Chances are, that won't work and you'll need to find the leak. Mine was the condensor for $200 plus install and freon. Good Luck.
Hi, my name is Ron,Is the freon level right or to much or to little amount of freon?Does the ac accumilator get really cold? The pipe coming off the accumelator ?If so,look for a vacuum line to be colasped or leaking, and check vacuum resorvoir to see that it is not leaking vacuum...any more [email protected]
Could be several things. The fuse relay to the AC compressor could be bad. The system may need to be recharged due to lack of refrigerant the compressor will not work unless it has enough.
There are special cans of R-134A with dye in them for detecting leaks. Most leaks occur around the fittings near the compressor. Recharge the system with the leak detector can or R-134A. There are also cans of R-134A with an additive to stop leaks. I would use these products to either detect your leak or to stop it. Best of luck.
