2001 Ford Focus. One front window doesn't roll

It sounds like you have either a defective window lift motor or the window regulator is sticking due to corrosion or lack of lubrication. Dry carefully spraying silicone into the window run channels at the front and rear of the window glass, this may free it up. WARNING do not get the spray silicone on plastic trim or paint, use a rag and carful spray the fluid.

you have to check your electrical system or the fuse linked to that area.

That sounds like a bad fuse or a relay. Check your owner's manual for fuse locations in panel under steering wheel, and under Hood on the driver's side.I would start there.

Hi, has your car got global closing. Sometimes they forget their memory, normally after pulling a fuse or flat battery. Open all your windows, sunroof if you have one. Press the lock on your fob and keep held down, all windows should close, this also works for opening when you keep hold of the open button, try doing this a few times, eventually it restores memory. I also have a 2001 focus.

YEP SOUND LIKE COULD BE THE FUSES.

Check the wires that pivot between the door and the inner fender,you will have to remove the rubber covering from the harness to get a good look at it but the problem is usually in the pivot point.

You have a short ,check were the wires come out of the body and go into the doors

Did you check the fuse box. The one in the engine compartment and in the dash board on the drive side.
to see if you blow a fuse.
Also is you security light flashing

I have a 2001 Ford Escape. My driver window doesn't alway roll up when I push the button. As silly as it sounds, when the driver window won't come up, I roll down the front passenger window and then push the buttons for both front windows. The driver window comes up then. I've been doing this for about 6 mos. so eventually it will probably fail. But it is a short time fix.
