As with any sort of troubleshooting, a lot of the process for finding a leak is mental. It is necessary to start by looking at where the leak is and when it shows up. Determine whether the water is only there when it rains, and whether it only occurs if it rains hard, or if light rain can cause leakage as well. Figure out if the car has to be moving or making a turn for it to leak, as well as when the car started leaking.
Water leaks typically leave some sort of telltale marks. Wet carpeting or upholstery is an obvious one, but not all leaks are that obvious. Many leaks will cause water stains, which are mineral deposits left behind by the water when it evaporates. Another key indicator is rust on the inside of the vehicle. Rust will not form unless the inside of the vehicle has been getting wet.
The more information one has about when the car is leaking and under what conditions it is leaking, the easier it will be to determine exactly what is causing the leak. (this is from the ebay link)

How Might Water Leak into My Car
That depends upon the cause of the water. There are a few possibilities, depending upon the vehicle. See this list and use what applies as a way to narrow down the source.
1. Rust hole in floorboard. Only way to fix is to repair hole.
2. Leaking door seal on passenger side. Locate and repair leaking seal.
3. Leaking sun/moon roof. Some vehicles that have these run their drain lines down the passenger side door pillar and down thru the floor pan. Sometimes the hose shrinks with age or breaks and allow water to get on to the floor. Remove the passenger side kick panel and inspect and repair as needed.
4. Leaking heater core. Feel and smell the water. If it smells like antifreeze or has an oily feel, it may be coolant leaking from the heater core. Of course there should be a loss of coolant associated with this problem. Here the only solution is to bypass or replace the heater core.
5. Leaking windshield seal. Most car windshields today are glued into place. These glue joints can break loose and allow water to leak. Also, rust can form around the windshield seal and cause rust holes that can leak. Lastly, extremely high-powered car stereo systems that pump mega-bass can cause overpressure inside the vehicle that can cause the seal of the glass to separate.
SOURCE: Water coming in to front passenger floor when it rains
The heater/airconditioner box under the dash has a drain hose to allow condensation to drain when the air conditioner is running. If this hose gets plugged, rain may accumulate in this box also (if it's raining heavily), as it comes in through the fresh air intake.
Look on the engine side of the firewall, probably on the passenger side, for a hose coming through the firewall that is not connected to anything. It is usually short, has a 90 degree bend, and the open end is down. Make sure that the end of this hose is not plugged.

I would lean more towards one of the drain tubes being disconnected. You will have to get into the headliner to check. Your leak is in the front, I would remove the sun visors and the trim on the windsheild pillars, this should allow enough room to see it the drain tube is loose. The drain tubes usually push onto a nipple at the front of the track, if it's loose just push it back on and secure with a zip tie.

where your battery sits look inside there maybe some twigs and leaves blooking the drainage holes look all along there i had similar problem on vw passat no arm in looking hope this helps?good luck
SOURCE: water leaking in. getting in floor board on driver side.
heater core and or backed up evaporator drain tube.
SOURCE: a/c condensation leaking inside passenger floor
this is a issue due to lack of a filter that was not installed in factory.... call dealership they should install the filter and unclog the drain free... do it soon before it fries your blower motor and resistor like it did mine :)
