In all modes, even moving real fast in fresh air mode
no vent blow? weak in hot mode and cold?????????????????

no year stated,so answer will be kinda(weak,)
(weak and. tragically generic, is that good?, no)
1993?
see? this is 2016, so.....
lots of EVOLUTION to the EXTREME here.
for sure the climate control option.?
like Gemini 1 to Space X?

weak blower, the filter is dirty:?
hvac self tests fail? (read hvac page in FSM see it?) ask.
12vdc to blower pins, on high?
yes, then blower is weak(means bad)
or there are restrictions, then
top restrictions are dampers stuck
or

Why has my a/c stopped blowing

Could be a blown fuse or a problem with the blower motor or resistor/controller, but on the AZC (automatic zone control) system, many times the problem is a melted connector on the blower motor controller. Look up in the passengers footwell area, there you will find the blower motor (fastened with three screws) and next to it the blower motor controller..

2000 jeep grand Cherokee limited only blows cold air despite c.c setting position. Also what I'm Guessing to be the blower control module hot lead burned through end of wire/ wiring harness/ and circuit...

lead burned through
that's easy
using the wrong fuse size
and the feed is shorted,
the correct fuse prevents the burned wires.

here are the HVAC pages
http://www.jeep4x4center.com/knowledge-base/index.htm?utm_source=cj#service

lots of things can short. in cars. (topic Hvac)
  • the wires.
  • the connectors
  • the HVAC motors (actuators)
  • the blower.

if you had stated the exact wire color and what it connect to exacty
we can state who shorted.

Fuse 1 , 40amp runs the blower. dark green.
Fuse 20 , 10amps runs others.
Fuse 7 runs zone control,,,10A and all 4 damper motors actuators.
see 8w-42-6 pages.

ok you have your FSM and now can find who connects to what.

your blower motor may be drawing too many amps causing the heat problem at the plug. If so replace the blower motor. and / or The connector plug to the blower motor resistor will melt causing it to fail. you may have to replace the blower motor resistor plug (pig tail). Lastly check your blower motor relay. Making sure you are getting full volts accross the contacts..

2001 Grand Cherokee Limited a/c Blower Motor

Check on Ebay for Jeep Grand Cherokee Harness Kit. The plug on your harness may be melted like mine was. I bought this kit, followed the instructions in his ad and it worked great. All I had to do was cut off my old plug and solder this one on. Even the wire colors matched so there was no guessing.
