How can I disable the alarm system?

Try turn key on car but not start for few min.Call dealer for alarms ask ththem.Or get online.

Does it not start or not crank ?
Do you see a security light on the dash ?

The 'Keyless Entry & Burglar Alarm System" is activated. You must 'Disarm' the system using the Keyless Entry Remove (Key Fob) to "Reset" the system. The reason the engine won't start is due to the burglar alarm - it has a "Starter Kill" circuit which is activated when the alarm is activated. The alarm must be DEactivated to DEactivate the 'Starter Kill' circuit.
Another way to start the engine is to get in the car, put the key in the ignition and turn it to 'ON" and wait 3 to 5 minutes until the emergency flashers stop/turn off. Afterward, you should be able to start the engine. NOTE: This does NOT reset the burglar alarm. It will go off again when you enter the vehicle without using the remote/key fob.

this could be a few things fuel pump getting weak or your alarm could of activated itself and it disables the fuel to the engine, I would try reseting the built in alarm system. first put the key in the ignition and turn on till all the lights come on and let it sit 10 minutes with the key on, then after the 10 minutes is over turn the key to the off position and wait 3 seconds and then try to start. if it starts which is possible because grand ams and olds aleros are bad for the security system locking up by them self. Replace ignition lock cylinder and chip key. The wires have broken.

did you replace the fuse.if so try to get the alarm reset location,it could be in the stupidist place like my pathfinder you have to put the key in the tailgate and turn it to glass side and hold it for 20 seconds.and then hit the hidden reset switch under the rear carpet.

no cutoff switch!! try this turn key to on, do not start car. let sit for about 30 minutes, after 30 minutes, turn key off. wait 15 seconds and try to start car. this should reset anti theft system.

with gm alarms you need to wait about 2 min for it 2 arm. also it only protects the doors when opened.

Try cleaning the key "chip" resistor and if this doesn't work try the other key.
