SOURCE: Replace 2005 Cadillac CTS water pump
drain the coolant.remove belt by rotating belt tensioner cllockwise. water pump pulley will require a holding tool to keep it from turning while removing bolts. access to air ratchet can sometimes eliminate the need to hold but be careful cause thats a good way to skin some knuckles. also make installation more difficult to obtain proper torque. after pulley is off just a few water pupm mounting bolts remain. clean and dry gasket surface very well before reinstalling.

SOURCE: I have a 2005 cadillac cts with 90,000 miles and
I've been having hesitation with shifting for the past 3 years. been in the shop 6 times (its a 2006 CTS with 78,000kms on it).
First they replaced the torque converter. That fixed the symptoms for 6 month. then they replaced the ****** under warranty. next time it was software. next time I'm not sure what they did to fix it. This time they blamed it on timing chains. After being in the shop for 8 weeks, I picked it up today and it worked great, except the check engine light came on, drove it straight back to the dealer. they took it for a test drive and it broke down on the highway. had to be towed back in.
My guess is you have the "stretched" timing chain issue that can occur on the Cadillacs. It might be covered by warranty, or if your SOL like me... not covered under warranty. Right now I'm fighting with GM Canada and the local GM dealer to fix this under warranty since it started under warranty to begin this.
SOURCE: cadlillac cts 2005 sun roof not working - where is fuse box for sun roof
Hi there:
Check Rear Underseat Fuse Block (Passenger's Side) that is located under the rear seat on the passenger's side of the vehicle.
The rear seat cushion must be removed to access the rear fuse block. See "Removing the Rear Seat Cushion" listed previously from the Owners Manual.
To access the fuse block, push in the two tabs located at each end of the fuse block cover. Then lift the cover off.
This is the specific location on J CASES for Sunroof Module...
Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.
