Where is the fuse for tag lights on 88 chevy c1500 silverado

There is not a separate fuse. The tag light is powered off of the tail lights. If you have tail lights but no tag lights your problem is either bad tag light bulbs or the connections between the tail lights and the chassis ground at the tag light bulb sockets.

Where is the license plate ligt fuse on a 2002 rendezvous

It does not have a separate fuse, it is on the same fuse as your tail lights. If your tail lights are working and your tag light is not, then you will either have a bad tag light bulb or a bad wire, connection, or bulb socket.

2005 gmc sonoma. Tag light isnt working . I was going to check the fuse but cant find tag light listed on fuse diagram. What else would they call it so i can locate what fuse its on. And if its not fuse...

You can check the fuse, but the problem usually is the bulb or the socket contacts where the bulb plugs into.
Tag lights (license plate lights) are exposed to a lot of weather/road exposure and bumps/vibration, which shorten their life.

Rarely is a "tag light fuse" listed. The tag light is typically on a circuit with several other lights or accessories, and most commonly on the taillight circuit fuse, but not always.
Only a wiring diagram or a manual will be able to verify which circuit/fuse it is on, so you may have to check several fuses.

IF it turns out to be a blown fuse, your first step should then be to trace and identify the source of the electrical short (usually in wires by the tag light itself). Simply replacing a fuse is NOT a cure or a good 'repair'.

(As I write this, I have 2 tag lights out on my vehicle,, one which I verified is a blown bulb, and the other due to a badly corroded bulb socket)

Where is the fuse box for tag light

The fuse for the license plate light, if that is what you mean by tag light, is under the rear seat cushion On my 2005 deville it
is listed as the dimmer fuse. It is a 10 amp fuse. Look in your owners manual for its location.

Wich fuse is the one for the tag lights in a 1998 ford expedition

The tag lights run off the same circuit as the tail lights, if you have tail lights, and the only light out is the tag light, it's the bulb.
If no tail lights also, check the fuse for the tail lights.

The tag lights are on the same fuse as your parking lights check your bulbs the little bulbs don't last long both of them are probably blown.I am assuming you are talking about the license plate lights.
