It’s a wire that is part of the wiring in the driver side door.
If you wish to fix yourself, (disconnect battery and follow all safety measures per your manufacturer’s recommendations) there is a black rubber gusset (accordion style tube) that contains the wiring harness to the door. On the door side of the tube you will find tabs on the top and bottom you can squeeze together to pull back and reveal the harness connector that is also located closest to the door.
Disconnect the harness and pull back though a hole located in the area directly under the interior fuse box. This might not be the easiest task, so when you pull back the rubber tube, check for any broken wires. You can lightly pull on each wire to see if one is loose if you are not able to visually locate the wire in question.
Repair the wire using the best method available to you and reverse the removal. Return the harness back though the door, plug in the harness, and snap the tube back into place. I found this after a good deal of troubleshooting and had to fix the same wire in a different section about 2 years later. This should be recalled as I have fixed 2 friends with the same problem.
Remember also to be safe and if you need to replace any wires, contact your dealer for details on the repair. This is doable, just take your time and plan to be in the area working for at least 30 minutes to an hour if you are good at repairs.

Please dont worry yourself so much the security locks needs to be reprogrammed to enable it work effectively. Same happens to other vehicles as well.
Consult Hyundai garage close to you or if you have it in your manual.

I has a similar problem and I just took the battery out of my remote. I think there is a problem/ short in the remote. It's as if the button is being pressed when it is not. I will use my spare one in the mean time. It was driving me crazy becuase I was driving long distance at the time and when I removed the battery it stopped. I hope this works for you!

I'm more familiar with Range Rovers and Saab's when it comes to key fobs but if you changed the battery you have to re-program the key fob. If you do not have an owner's manual that can take you through the steps you might want to try: push and hold the lock button on the key fob, put it in the driver's side door and turn to lock. With the button still depressed turn back to open, remove the key and release the button. If this doesn't work check any and all fuses associated with your system and last but not least you could take it to a dealer. Good luck!
