Egr valve on a mazada 2001 van have a relay or fuse

There is nothing that backs up memory. When you disconnect the battery, all memory is lost, which is why it is important not to do it!

You don't tell us the model? Is it a secret? All questions need 'year make model' as the FIRST 3 words.

If your have a 1999 Infinity I30, the ECM Fuse is Fuse 58.

A EGR valve is fitted to all modern engines, it's not an option so get it checked out

Those van are very common for egr valve problems but usually set a check engine light try to un plug the valve. Its also possible you have a plugged coverter

P0660 Intake Manifold Tuning Valve Control Circuit/Open.. Although you may want to first look at a new EGR Valve - particularly in Mazda.
PS: Your local auto parts store can also define OBD II Codes.

relay located in the fuse box located under the hood, fuse/relay box is generally on L side of engine compartment.......fan relay should be marked under the cover...testing....try a new relay....they are cheap.
yet use a chrystler part!

I agree, replace the Coolant temp sensor, it will have 2 wires going to it, Not 1. Usually located just behind the breather near the thermostat outlet.

This sensor controlles your timing and fuel to air ratio.

the a/c condenser fan fuse could be blown. replace fuse and disconnect battery. there is also a TSB relating to this. call dealer to confirm

No Biggy.. Get them to install a DPFE sensor,, ( its the one that regulates the EGR valve ) Most ppl mistake a 1409 Code as Being EGR and it is kinda.. but when the valve maint fails.. its almost always the DPFE sensor.. Try that and lemmie know

2001 Chrysler Town and Country- Won't start. Turn over. It acts like the fuel is not getting to the engine. After many attempts , it starts and runs like there are no problems. The car has 120,000 and has never had a problem. Is the fule pump bad?
