Right front window wont move, neither of the front buttons will work it. Whats wrong

Is your hydraulic fluid full?

Did you pull the door panel an check to see if B+ voltage is getting to the motor's ?

There can be several reasons. When you say you "fixed" the windows, it makes me wonder what was wrong with them before you started. The part inside the door is usually a window regulator. It has teeth to be moved by the gear on the electric window motor. The position of the regulator teeth is suppose to match the position of the window. If you imagine setting the window 1/2 open, then that is as far as the window will rise when the electric window motor cranks. The electric motor gear will only travel so many turns for each cycle of the motor switch.


Mixing motors on the wrong side of the car is something else that can go wrong if you change W motors. The W motors are not the same from front to front or rear to rear. They are often compatible diagonally (right front to left rear) (left front to right rear).


Finally, you can have a switch box for the auto up/auto down feature inside the door panels. You need to check for power at the W motor and then backtrack.

Your window is most likely just off the base. To fix it, you might need to take your door apart and reset it. I would suggest taking it in if you don't feel comfortable taking your door apart.

There is a link bar under the cowl (plastics under wipers) the bar has plastic sockets on each end that connects the left side(where the motor connects) to the right, so...when the left wiper moves it transfers the motion to the right

sounds like someone has messed with your electrical. i suggest you call an auto electrician unless you have some sort of knowledge with electrical

This is a 2006 Infiniti G35 , window will not go up or down,
Grab glass and see if you can move the window down or up by hand, if you can then you have a bad window regulator, if glass will not move then you may have a bad motor, also make sure that the window lock button is not on, to be sure it is not on operate rear windows and they should work.

Well my first suggestion is: live with it, because everything is working and moving your finger by half an inch doesn't seems so bad to me.

Otherwise I would visit the nearest Porsche Center and explain them the Problem, they will connect your Car with a Computer an know in an instant whats wrong with it.

Well either the gears aunt lined up correctly or the motor old and tired. Doesn't have enough power/torque to spin gears. might just need a new motor.
