This problem is a low freon charge in the system. ... But a system that is 1/2 pound low will cause the passenger side vents to blow cool or cold air, and the drivers side to be less cool or even warm on this car. Heater in 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 blow cold air out of vents on driver side and warm air on passenger side when turned to heat.What could be possible cause?

Not sure about your dodge, but on hondas there is a lever under the driver side vent to allow fresh(outside air) when its cold out, it will be cold, even with the heat on inside, so check to see if your has that lever somewhere on that side...hope that helps

There are a couple of possibilites. 1 Is your vehicle equipped with seperate climate controls for the driver and passenger, if so your warm/cold air motor door on the drivers side is malfunctioning. This is located under the dash.2 Your climate controls on your dash are not working properly. Hope this helps.

Only cold air on passenger side

I would assume with multiple people having the same problems, there should be a service bulletin on this issue. may want to call dealer with vin # to verify. sounds like a heater control issue under the dash. something i would leave to the experts for repair
