THE KEY CAN NOT BE IDENTIFIED BY THE OBC
There are a variety of posts on the internet describing the procedure but it can sometimes be tricky. You might have to go to the dealer. If you bought the key there or they know you they might do it for free.

the m42 oil pump is located inside the timing chain cover and is an integral part of the casing so it is neccessary to remove the water pump + viscous fan etc to expose the pump front cover then remove 4 machine screws to examine the pump rotors underneath.

possibly a problem with the button on the end of the stalk.
sounds like your indicator stalk needs changed out.
I had a similar problem with the other side and my intermittent wipers. changed the stalk and it was all good.

The alarm needs pairing with the new key, I don't know the procedure but
