No, the Powertrain Control Module only does powertrain, but can prevent starting.

Lights and locks are the domain of the Body Control Module. Having said that, your Cadillac has dozens of large and small modules.

Check the fuses,

I think on these models it is either under the hood or under the driver side dash. If you look in your manual it should tell you exactly. Usually the fuse panel will be labeled. you might have to remove a cover panel or open it up if its under the hood. that particular fuse should be a larger round fuse would be my guess, considering it has to have a flash switch instead of a constant circuit like a regular fuse.
Try checking one of those two places if you cant find your manual.otherwise you might be able to find locations online from Cadillacs web site.

2001 cadillac has the blower motor inside passenger compartment, passenger side. Remove the kick panel under glove box and you'll see the blower motor assembly. Hope this helps.

Anytime I get a too lean DTC I first change the fuel filter if it hasn't been changed in awhile. You'd be surprised how many times this has helped.

hello. there should be a fuse slot labeled DRL.
It should be #24 and it will require a 10Amp fuse.
put a 10 amp fuse in that slot and you will have your daytime running lights.

There are 2 screws which hold the large panel right under the steering column. They use a large flat head screwdriver and are 1/4 turn. They are right on the bottom edge of this padded panel. The panel, which your knees should almost touch when sitting in the driver's seat, needs to be lifted up (slide it) after removing the screws as it is keyhole pinned.
The fuses are under there....there are more next to the battery as well.

You need to replace the flasher. It will be located around the inside fuse panel. When you turn the signals on and off being they dont work automaticaly you will hear a clicking sound and that is where it should be.
