Check the inside of the distributor cap for "carbon tracks", which is a bad cap with a path to ground for the ignition pulse. You would need a new dist. cap and rotor, if you see those carbon tracks.
Call a local mechanic and get it looked at ,without my head under the engine i couldnt tell you from afar It could be the pump but i honestly tell you without testing it myself
Go over it, check the air filter, fuel filter, make sure your key isn`t bent. bent keys off set the chip and the car cant read it. next time take out the key and turn it around and try it again. let me know.
Jump start does what? Do you have dash lights? horn etc. Trying to figure out if the battery power is getting anywhere. The battery could be dead again from parasitic drain. The cables could be damaged from corrosion. The neutral switch could be defective of loose.
look man a mechanic is a guy who can change parts on ur car till it fixes it u need sumone to trouble shoot y did u change timing belt did it skip teeth good one day next start wont sounds more electrical or ignition do u have alarm system
Are you sure youre not getting a spark? pull a plug wire off the plug of a cylinder and put it on another spare spark plug and crank the motor and look for a spark. If you have spark then its a fuel issue. check your fuel pump. Also be aware of alarm systems and immobolizers if you have them. what i mean is do you have to program your keys? if your keys are not programed then there won't be a spark, even if it fits and can turn it to start. Or if an after market alarm system is stuck on lock.
Check the ecm fuses if they can't communicate using an obd reader then the ecu isn't getting any power different car company's label them differently but look for the ones that are labeled something like ecu, ecm, engine controller, or something like that I hope this helps
make sure you have power getting to your starter when you crank. check the small nut on the starter. should have 12 v or very close to it. this will tell you if your getting power to the starter or if somethign before the starter and something maybe with your anti theft system or not. its hard to say online cause of that anti theft. doest the light flash at all? the anti theft light?
if your getting power to the starter when you crank make sure your getting good power to the starter by turning on the head lights and see if they dim. a good starter will cause the headlites to dim when attempting to start. if nothing dims check connections. or assume bad starter motor. make sure your also getting power to the main starter stud as well.
