The symbol you are looking for is the same as the light you see on the dashboard when you use your indicators. The attached image is a common example but some manufacturers use separate fuses for Left and Right. In that case the arrow shape will be the same but there will be a single arrow pointing left for left side and a single arrow pointing right for the right side.

Everything works ok lights radio heaters wipers but I dont get any dashboard lights on could you tell me what could it be

I would suspect a blown fuse that may be under the hood or a fusible link.

When I turn on either left or right indicator both indicators light up

try pushing the hazard light switch again. what you have is the hazard lights in operation ( both sides indicators working) In normal indicator operation power from the flasher unit is directed to which ever side you select but by pressing the hazard light switch the indicator power lights up all lights.

no year, no joy!!!! COROLLA? Introduced in 1966 !

and lost the operators guide, 2x no joy, and will repeat, this.
why not get the oper. guide and keep it.?
why get stranded? , with no guide. ? (limitless bad,,, can happen)
some newer cars have 20 or more warnings, mine has like 100.
min has 15 lamps and then vast numbers on VFD possible.

here ill guess 2000 year
and go here
and you read the manual and what IT says to do.
type "warning" in the search box.

Dashboard warning lights

There is a switch on the transmission that tells the indicator what gear it's in. It sounds like that switch has gone bad. The indicator lights might be due to the computer picking up a fault with the switch. You should take it in somewhere and get it scanned. You could go to an auto parts store for a free scan but they will probably try to sell you every single part that might cause that code, taking it to a shop and paying them a little money to confirm what part is bad is worth the money in the end.

Red arrow poiting down

If I'm right, and this vehicle is a stick, this model has shift indicator lights. Green arrow points up when its time to shift up, and red arrow points down when you need to downshift. If it does, the tach, which registers the motor rpm's, which controlls the lights, is malfunctioning.

I want to understand the "overdrive"

When the button is pressed and the arrow indicator light is on the overdrive gear is not being used and you only have 3 speeds. When the button is pressed and the light is off you have overdrive. Normal use you should not see the arrow.

Hello, I noticed you have a red arrow on you dash showing up. Your car is a manual shift transmission and the arrow is indicating a preset shift interval to help you save gas and performance quality. 03 Malibu Red Light

this light is a warnning light which indicates that your coolant reservoir is low. there is a plastic tank in your engine that showes the indicator level on its side .make sure the engine is cold and open the cap and add coolant if needed. the light should go off.if not let me know.
