Their are two possible thing that causes your stereo fail to be working.
1. Power supply terminal is not properly attached.
2. Busted electronic component inside the stereo.
Some stereo, when their is busted component inside, it wont turn on. So you better have it check to authorize technician or by your self.
please test the fuse for open or dirty or corrosion or bad contact. 2) tight the wires connector very well. 3) see if the connection are propely connected and not missing see the diagram attached. God bless you
make sure you have a good ground and 12 volts on the power wire.the problem is in the way you are wiring it if the unit works when hooked to a battery.
THAT SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE THE RADIO CONNECTED WRONG.. REMOVE THE ALL POWER FROM THE BACK OF THE STEREO. AND CHECK AGAIN, ONE OF OR TWO OF THE POWER WIRES TO THE ORIGINAL STEREO ARE FOR DIMMING THE LIGHTS NOT TO BE USED AS A HIGHER AMP OPERATION.
