the guy is right it is that joint have the same problem you can get under the truck and try shakin the joint that looks just like a ... u... it is right behind the tire comin out of the front axle it will wiggle probably bad..

Even though you checked the vacuum lines and found no leaks it does not mean there isn't a problem. The check valve in the line closest to the firewall actuator is probably your problem. Had the same issue replaced this line and solved it. The check valves in the vacuum lines are your best next guess.

You are not going to be happy. There is a servo motor that moves the door. The clicking noise is the little plastic gear stripped. Yes....plastic. And I belive that servo motor is expensive, especially for a plastic gear.

well start by checking the sway bar links they are a common problem, they break or get worn and make noise, heres a picture of what they look like, and where they are located, hope this helps.
