You will have to remove the steering wheel ( may need steering wheel puller after nut removed ) and the turn signal switch to gain access to a lock pin on the side of the key tumbler assembly , It will either be visible through a small hole or a very thin punch out in the face of the switch housing. push down on the pin and pull the switch straight out ( you need the key installed to allow this function , but as you said it is already there but broken off )

SOURCE: i want to recharge the air conditioner on a 1992 crown vic

find your evaporator inlet outlet lines on the fire wall usually near heater core inlet outlet lines. then follow both lines until you find the one that goes to the compressor. that is your low side and the port should be on there

SOURCE: how to trouble shoot starting system 98 ford crown victoria

Also check to see if there is power in the start wire form the ignition switch, the wire is a white wire with pink stripe, most likely not a common problem, but still something that could go wrong. this wire will feed the starter relay under the hood...

SOURCE: How to replace uppe ball joint in Ford Crown

First make an appointment for a front end alignment which will be required after replacing the ball joint. Securely support the vehicle under the lower control arm at the outer end, the end nearest the tire. The upper ball joint is attached to the upper control arm with 2 large nuts. Under the nuts are cams with hex heads for adjusting caster and camber. Mark the position of these cams in a way that will allow you to reinstall them somewhere near the same position. Next remove the outer end of the joint from the steering knuckle an then remove the 2 nuts and both cams from the control arm end. Reinstall and get that alignment asap !

Need to pop trunk open to get keys out of the trunk on a 95 Ford crown Victoria

In some large cars like yours you can remove the rear seat back and open a plate that gives access to the trunk. Depending on your car if it is just a small access panel you will have to go on a fishing expedition with a magnet attached to a rod of some sort to fish them out.

Why won't it shift out of park?

There is a linkage between the ignition and the shifter that seems to have disconnected or broke. When you turn the key to the on position it unlocks the shifter in the column, remove the plastic cosmetics around the ignition and you can work the key back and forth and see the rod going up and down. If not, then replace.

Getting no fuel injected pulse or fire when trying to start 95 ford crown Victoria. What could be the problem?

sounds like your security system. i suspect that the wire in your ignition switch for the security system broke. if that is the case replacement of ignition switch is needed then the dealer has to make you a new key that matches your security system
