You take it an have DTC'S checked in the air bag control module . Have it fixed ,then the light will go out . Your best bet is take it to a ASE certified repair shop . You wouldn't want to have an unintended airbag deployment . People have been killed from not knowing what they were doing an setting off an airbag !

I took my airbag out to change my dashboard put it back in and on my light is on how do I shut it off I have an 02 Dodge Ram with a 4.7 L quad cab four-wheel drive

Airbag or rather SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) light comes on when the switch on self test detects a fault and generally the light will go out when the fault is repaired. Fault might be coincidentally other than the dashboard airbag, seatbelt pretensioners perhaps.

You will need to get a code read to discover the fault and get it erased which should put the light out but if it returns there is a definite fault that should be fixed...

The ABS dashboard light is always on, where are the ABS sensors located?

The ABS sensors are in airbags depending on the model you have. Best way is to use a ODBII reader to check the airbags to find the fault.

Some alfa's have issues with the connectors coming loose, it is common in the 147 and 156 for people to end up soldering the connector under the passenger seat.

Srs light on dashboard

There are a number of reasons the SRS light will come on for. Most commonly they are Impact Sensors, Clockspring, and Airbag Module. I don't know what sensors you replaced or what code is showing up, but you may have another bad sensor. This does happen. More likely than that is a bad connection at these sensors. Take them apart and clean all terminals. Make sure they are making good clean contact. Also check for a broken or nicked wire in the area.

The light on the dashboard for airbag just recently turned on in my 1997 BMW 328i sedan. What will be the first thing I should do to check and solve the problem? Is there any testing procedure or testing...

Theres a module called airbag restraint control module that should either be under your center console or under the hood. Have the wires or that module checked for any trouble codes. Your crash sensors may have been disabled as well.

Air bag light comes on intermdiately

it is the sensor located under the dashboard area. you can buy another one off the internet for 50.00. with instructions on how to remove the old one and then send it back for your deposit back. however, my light also comes on and off when the weather changes. i would ignore it unless it stays on for a few days. all it means is your airbag isnt working. i lived most my life without airbags.

Air bag light stays on

If your airbag light comes on it means its not working. Some of the newer airbag systems have weight sensors under the seats and anything lodged under them can disable the passenger airbag and possibly cause the light to go on. If there are no other symptoms, and nothing impeding the airbags then the car thinks the airbag wont work. If you are concerned for your son's safety, take it to a qualified mechanic and have them check/replace your airbag. Good Luck!
