SOURCE: 2001 Chevy Tahoe with ABS & Brake light on.

I hope you have the problem fixed by now, but, it is the ABS control under the truck. You need to go under the hood and open the fuse box and disconnect the 60 amp fuse for the ABS, this will turn it off before it burns up. This however will also cause the traction assist off light to stay lit all the time. To the fix the problem you can pay tons of money ($700 or so) to have the dealership install a ABS control and the problem will happen again over time. Or, remove it yourself, go on ebay and ship it off to a guy who repairs them for about $150 and you will never have the problem again. Also, if you wrap your cable ends with plastic and protect them good, you can still drive you truck while the part is being worked on. It takes about a week.

SOURCE: 2005 Chevy Tahoe Trailer Running Lights Out

Depending on what type of trailer you have, a blown lightbulb on one marker could kill them all (like the old Christmas light strings). Look at those, and make sure your ground is good.

SOURCE: The dashboard lights to my 2001 dodge caravan do not work

there is a fuse/relay panel underhood, also another underdash. check fuses with a testlight if possible. make sure the reostat( little wheel beside the light switch) is in the proper position. The dashlights are a seperate issue from the turn signals, unless it's an underdash wiring issue. check the fuses and reostat and let me know what you find.
Good luck

SOURCE: Renault Clio dashboard and side light blow fuse??

I found a solution to my problem on the Internet and it worked a treat

My problem was that the dashboard and both rear lights would not turn on, but the fuses were okay and nothing had been changed

It turns out that in the passenger footwell there are a few relays right in the footwell where a person would put their feet. At first it was suggested that you push your feet really hard against the front of the footwell to see if that helps, and it did, but the lights went out again later. So it was then suggested that you look for a loose relay box where the feet go (on the left hand side at the top of the footwell, nearish to the bonnet release catch). It turns out there are 2or3 relay boxes there. SImply push each one to ensure that it is correctly seated, and voila the lights work perfectly again.

A simple fix that costs nothing, saves a potentially costly visit to a garage, and can be undertaked without any tools are even needing to open the bonnet.

May not solve the problems of those blowing fuses etc, but certainly worked a treat for me

SOURCE: 99 Chevy Tahoe... Rear turn signals, brake lights, and hazards

I had this problem, and to be honest, it happened to the left side about a week later...it's the board that the bulbs plug into...it's a very common problem with this model. So popular that you can normally get the socket board off the shelf at a parts store! it's extremely simple to replace, and I replaced all the bulbs at the same time!

Hello, I have a problem with my 2017 accord. The tailights have gone off. Which fuse?

Power flows from the 12 volt battery through Fuse 19 (20A) and to the Tail Light Relay. This fuse and relay are housed in the under-hood fuse/relay box located at the left rear of the engine compartment. When the Tail Light Relay is commanded ON by the MICU, power flows out from the relay to Fuse 27 (10A) housed in the under-dash fuse/relay box located at the lower left end of the dashboard. From here, power flows to the side marker lights, license plate lights and tail lights. If a fuse is blown, check for water in the tail light assemblies. If a fuse isn't blown, it could be the the Tail Light Relay has failed or is not being commanded ON by the MICU. The MICU wouldn't send a command to turn ON without first seeing the request from the headlight/combination switch, so there could potentially be an issue there as well. Hi may i know how to fix the dashboard panel no backlight and headlight not switch off warning beep sound of Proton Saga BLM 1.3 Kindly advice and Thank you

Dashboard backlight works together with the tail light. Both the headlight and tail light is controlled by relays. Check the engine bay fusebox. Look at the inside of the fusebox cover and you can see the 'location map'of relays and fuses. Theheadlight and tail light relays sits side-by-side. Change both and check for blown hedlight fuses..

I own a 2004 pontiac grandam. Recently the lights on my dashboard and my fog lights under the headlights wont turn on. They were working one night and then i heard a click and they wont come back on.

First, get the Owner Manual and search for the page that shows the location of the fuses in the fuse box (which should be under the hood - see the manual). There may be one single fuse that supplies the dashboard and the fog lights, or there may be a relay instead through a fuse. The relay may be bad or the fuse may be open. You need a small 12 VDC probe with a bulb (or a meter) to test the fuse, or a meter with a "Ohms" or resistance/continuity range to test the relay. The relay is easy to pull out (be sure to note down the body orientation) and check the coil. If okay, plug it back in correctly. Replacing the fuse is just a pull out (use a correct plastic fuse puller) and pushing in the replacement. But if it fails again, you may have a "short circuit" and will need the vehicle wiring diagrams to trace and find the short.

Dashboard lamps are very small and don't fail much, but are extremely hard to replace when the go bad. I did this once for my 1995 Buick Regal. Fog lamps are easier to replace since they are part of the body. So I suspect more of the blown fuse than a bad lamp.

Fitting front fog lights

I just saw fog lights on e-bay for about $125 - $130 + shipping.
So the relays are there? I have not checked not car yet. I was told fogs need a "J relay" and a "white relay with green feet" under the driver's side knee bolster, and a "gray relay" at the fuses. Please let me know if you have part numbers in case I need to order them. (Maybe I will try a donor car from a salvage yard). Good luck.
