Just losen the mounting drop the engine abit until its far enough for the fanbelt to pass the mounting and replace it. May i ask are you sure its the fanbelt according to my knowledge ive never heard of a fanbelt on a corsa bakkie where thd engine mounting can prevent it from coming off
youve over heated the engine -and may have cracked the head or warped it -suggest you take to a ford mechanic a.s.a.p -an oil change wont solve the problem ,a new replacement head and new gasket etc.at the worst or may get away with just maching the head if its not cracked then with new gasket you could be lucky -talk to mechanic
many vehicles fan's run on after turning engine off depending on the engine temperature at the time ,so that the engine is cooled down so helping the fuel not to evaperate in the fuel system, how long does it run on for ?
Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback

the aulternator has the adjuster attached to it loose the bolt press the aulternator against the engine the belt will tighten keep it pressed and tighten the bolt
Some thing in onr of those components is shorting and /or drawing to much current. If you can't figure out which then you will have to get a diag. The serp belt could not cause this. Look at the 12v plug-ins.
