Replacing 140 amp fuse in lexus gx 470

Fuse 26 (Radio 1) Fuse 42 (Radio 2). The most complicated Lexus of all. I was at the launch, and the first time I saw an engine with NO access, all covered up.. I love my ES330 and was at the dealership yesterday and 2 grand lighter!

Did you have the battery diconnected for any reason? If so it is in theft lock out. If that isn't the case check the radio fuse(s). FUSE LOCATION AND NUMBER ARE LISTED IN THE OWNERS MANUAL.

I would try to move the battery enough to replace the bulb as when you disconnect the battery the car will have to relearn drive patterns for best gas mileage shifting of transmission, and other things that the computer controls.you also may have to enter a code to get your radio to work again if you don`t have your code written in the owners manual you will have to go to the dealer to have the radio programed

that will tell you everything that should be replaced or checked

easiest way is the lay on the ground and reach up. twist the bulb holder out and replace the bulb.

Regulator in alternator obviously faulty, have it bench tested & fixed or replace alternator, and cure your problem.

It was not replaced correctly, more info needed..
