Why would the dealer unhook the air bag light ? Turn the key to the on position ,is the air bag light lit ? That would be ******* for the deal to disable air bag light . An besides ,there is no buzzer for a non working airbag light. So take it back to the dealer.
Air Bag Warning Indicator
The instrument cluster is hardwired to the restraint control module (RCM). If an air bag system concern is detected, a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is logged, and the RCM provides a ground path to the instrument cluster, turning on the air bag indicator
If there is a problem with the airbag system a DTC- diagnostic trouble code would set

Is your seat belt buckled? My Fords flash red in the speedometer if I don't buckle up. It also has a red flashing light in the tach that flashes to warn potential thieves that there is an automatic passive alarm system in operation but only when the key is off. Another possibility and I'm not sure this is it but in some newer cars, they have selective passenger side air bags that are disabled if you put something in the front passenger seat weighing between 4 and 40 pounds. This is so you don't blow a $1,500.00 air bag in a collision to protect the life of a $12.00 bag of groceries. I don't know your gender but if you are female, a purse? Years ago, my mother went to Florida. She rented a new 1974 Chevy Malibu. Back then, they had an engine disable circuit that forced you to buckle up but you could bypass it with the push of a button under the hood. Instead of disabling the engine, a buzzer would sound if you didn't buckle up. She went nuts for 2 days before taking it back. The agent told her to lift her purse off from the passenger seat. This stopped the buzzer. Good luck.
you may have a problem with the clock spring or spiral cable as nissan calles it. it is a part of the air bag system and also horn signal runs into and out of it.if that part is bad, your air bag light will flash and your horn will not work. has anyone been doing any repairs inside of the steering wheel?? it may just be unpluged. if you are going to tackle this your self to look inside of the steering wheel, make sure you disconnect the battery for at least 3 minutes, befor you start playing with the air bag. you dont want to blow it up.
Check and see if your alternator is charging Low voltage will cause those lights to come on, as the computer is shutting down.
To check your alternator you will need a volt meter... WITH the engine running you should have about 14 volts coming out. IF NOT you need to replace the Alternator!
Sounds like the sensor is tripped due to low pressure in the compressor you have to get the unit charged and the light will go off. Or take it to a auto parts store and have them put their diagnostic code reader on their and have them clear the codes this may fix it as well
i have a 1996 grand caravan, and i have the problem of alarm going off too. I also do not have a keychain to turn it off. All you have to do is unlock the driver door or passenger door with a regular key, and that stops the alarm.
I read on another site that if the indicator on the dash is malfunctioning and there's a fault code in the system, the beeping is a secondary indication that there's a need for service. I've had my air bag light blinking for some time now. Yesterday my gauges went out, Oil Pressure, Gas Level, Temp Level, and the Battery Charging Meter, all went dead. After starting the vehicle, it beeps 5 sets of 5 beeps. Since the dash obviously has problems, (Including the Air Bag blinking thing not working), the beeps I now hear are what you are experiencing. However, if you still see the air bag light blinking, maybe your situation is a bit different than mine.
