Does it continue to run once restarted? Is the only issue a single stalling once warmed up?

1987 SS Monte Carlo stalls after running for approximately 10 min.. On restart attempt the engine turns but will not fire over. Car will not start until the next day. Could this be a fuel filter thats...

Could this be a fuel filter thats clogging or is it electrical such as an Electrictronic Ignition Control Module ? Wouldn't be a clogged fuel filter , wouldn't start any time ,even after sitting overnight . Morethen likely it's the ICM - ignition control module . But to make sure it's ignition related , run the vehicle till it stops then pull a plug wire an check for spark . No spark , ignition module .

Starts, runs 5 min. then shuts down everything, won't restart for couple minutes and with aid of jumper cables

does the truck have an anti-theft system? if so did u install anything new on the vehicle( stereo, remote starter etc...)if not then the module for the anti-theft my be toast. if u have installed anything new, double check where the wiring for the new component has been spliced, the anti-theft module needs at least a 5 volt signal in order 2 work. if this wire has been spliced then u will not have enough voltage to run the module properly.the module runs on a timer so if the truck stalls then u will have 2 wait about 5 mins for it 2 reset b4 u can restart the vehicle

The van stalls without notice at times when ready

This sounds like a classic case of either a dirty/faulty IAC (Idle Air Control) motor or a sticking EGR valve. If you can prevent it from stalling by keeping your fot on the gas slightly and it always restarts right away and runs good when restarted, I'd suspect the IAC first. If it "chugs"when stopping and will run rough even with a little (not a lot) of gas pedal and/or it runs rough when restarted, I'd suspect the EGR.

Have a Ford 1994 Tempo 2.3 L. When driving after about 20 minutes or so it stalls. Wait about 5 min it will restart then stall after about 10 mins or so.Have to wait until it sets awhile. When we got it...

start with checking the wiring to the fuel pump relay. keep a meter on it and what what it does. If you notice a power issue. back trace the wiring from there. Could Also be the PIP inside the distributor. have you tried changing it with a known good or replacement part.
