First change bulb if that dont work check to make sure your gettin voltage to the unit that aint working say its a bulb or broken wire or bad connection

Yeah, hook up a professional grade scan tool an check for DTC'S -diagnostic trouble codes in the BCM - body control module. Seeing how it controls (turns on) these lights. Turn/hazard indicators flashing fast means a bad bulb or short circuit somewhere.
DTC B3949: Right Front Turn Signal Circuit
Circuit/System Description
Ground is applied at all times at G200 to the turn signal/multifunction switch. The turn signal lamps may only be activated with the ignition switch in the ON or START position. When the turn signal/multifunction switch is placed in either the TURN RIGHT or TURN LEFT position, ground is applied to the body control module (BCM) through either the right turn or left turn signal switch signal circuit. The BCM then applies a pulsating voltage to the front and rear turn signal lamps through their respective control circuits. When a turn signal request is received by the BCM, a serial data message is sent to the instrument panel cluster (IPC) requesting the respective turn signal indicator be pulsed ON and OFF.
DTC B3951: Right Rear Turn Signal Circuit
DTC B3951 will set when the BCM detects a short to ground or an open/high resistance in the RR turn signal control circuit.
2. Checked the tail turn signal by swapping passenger and driver bulbs. (bulbs twist out). At least the rear bulbs were OK. The wiring seemed intact, with no water leaks, etc.
3. Tested the circuit by removing flasher relay. Inserted a jumper wire between the 2 and 6 locations (Thanks to the message in this thread). The front, rear and dash turn lights all checked OK.
4. Replaced the relay - Honda part 38300-SDB-A03. $23 bucks at local dealer.
I don't believe it would be a bad ground for just one light. It could be a wire, a socket connector, or the bulb socket itself. See if the wire has power at the socket when signaling left, with key on. If there is power, probably a bad socket or connector. If no power, check for power coming from flasher-the wire going to front left, or driver's side. If you have power from the flasher, but nothing at the socket, the wire has probably broken. Gday mate, we had a problem with another late model vehicle similar to that, the bulb that was put into the reverse light was not exact brand product ( ohmage was slightly wrong ) and fowled up computer, correct bulb in place and disconnect battery to reset K A M ( keep alive memory) problem solved, BEWARE, some vehicles cannot have KAM reset except for dealer computer tethered reboot , just try putting the factory correct bulb(s) in and see how it goes, geoff. hope this helped.
Vehicle electric trouble shooting is the worst. Some of the problems you described the bulbs may have multiple filiments with only some burned out. It may sound silly but change the bulbs. Get a couple of new bulbs and try them in the different spots. Time, road vibrations and spring pressure causes the contacts on the bulbs to wear until they get a poor connection then you get a little arcing that build up a residue and a bulb that test good doesn't work.
Your on the right track with the ground wire. Try a test lamp with a good gound connection and test the different sockets, if your test light works but your bulb doesn't you have a ground fault. If neither work check the switch and fuse before you start tracing the wiring. These are just general trouble shooting tips It's very hard to trouble shoot electrical problems sight unseen.
we found the flasher curcuit had no power to the hot prong. So my friend wired the flashers hot prong into the radios fuse curcuit to get power to it and put a separate 10amp fuse on the new lead.
There is probably something shorting the front turn signal wires; the car is supposed to turn the signal light circut on and leave it on if it detects a burned out light bulb. The flashers, however, are supposed to work normally no matter what happens. Hope this helps!
