The tailgate on my 2007 Surburban will start to open when you touch auto open then closes once halfway open

Probably a sensor ! without hooking up a factory scanner an checking for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's couldn't say for sure what the problem is . Your best bet ,take it to a qualified repair shop .
Electronic module involved in the operation of the liftgate .
Object Obstruction Detection
The liftgate control module continuously monitors power liftgate operation and calculates its location and direction of travel using 2 hall effect sensors that are part of the gear motor assembly. The hall effect sensors are 3 wire sensors and are supplied with a 5 volt power circuit, ground and signal circuits from the liftgate control module. The hall effect sensor signal circuits are referenced from battery voltage within the liftgate control module and pulsed low by the hall effect sensors.
The power liftgate system uses a secondary object detection method which consists of object sensors fixed to both sides of the liftgate near the seal area. The object sensors consist of an internal fixed resistor and normally open switch contacts which when closed will bypass the resistor. The signal circuit is supplied 5 volts through a resistor and monitored within the liftgate control module, and during normal power liftgate operation the signal circuit should remain a fixed value. When an object presses one of the sensors the contacts close and the resistor is bypassed causing the signal circuit voltage at the module to go low.

Circuit/System Description
When calibrating the liftgate position, the liftgate module (LGM) is placed in a functional state to learn the liftgate travel limits. DTC B1019 00 will set automatically as an indicator that the system is in learn mode and not as a fault indicator. Once the travel limits are learned by the liftgate module, the LGM will exit calibration mode. If the LGM does not exit learn mode, DTC B1019 00 will remain current and indicate a fault.

02 expedition 4x4 has code 1270 and speedometer is way off won't shift in all gears

P1270 - Engine RPM/Vehicle Speed Limiter Indicates the vehicle has been operated in a manner which caused the engine or vehicle to exceed a calibration limit. The engine rpm and vehicle speed are continuously monitored by the PCM. The DTC is set when the rpm or speed fall out of calibrated range. For additional information on the engine rpm/vehicle speed limiter, refer to Section 1, Electronic Engine Control (EC) System , Powertrain Control Software.
  • Wheel slippage (water, ice, mud and snow)
  • Excessive engine rpm in Neutral
  • Vehicle drive at a high rate of speed
The DTC indicates the vehicle has been operated in a manner which caused the engine or vehicle speed to exceed a calibrated limit.

I have a 2004 Dodge Intrepid SE and the check engine light has been on for several days. I took it to Auto Zone and they plugged in their tester. They gave me the following codes - P1776 and P0700. Please...

P0700 code is a generic code for Transmission Control System Malfunction

P1776 code means your solenoid switch valve is stuck in low reverse. (DTC 47) A stuck solenoid switch valve is a common occurrence in the valve body of the Dodge 41te transmission.

The first step would be to check the wiring to the solenoid from the TCM, then maybe try a new solenoid pack if the wiring is determined to be fine.

Po700 and p1776

P0700 is EATX code present. It simply means that the engine computer has noticed that the transmission computer has a dtc in it. This causes the Pcm (engine computer) to turn the check engine light on. You will need to have the TCM (trans computer) checked for codes to know what to diagnose.

error code P1776 - Replace rear solenoid switch

Likely both related The P1776 probably kicked off the P0700 notification.

Hope that helps! Happy Motoring!

Check engine light on 2005 town and country 3.3

(DTC) CODE # P0700....Transmission Control System (MIL Request)

Translation:
Transmission Control Module (TCM) Malfunction or Failure.

P0700 Information Code

The Transaxle Control Module (TCM) monitors the malfunction of sensors and actuators relating to transaxle control. If any malfunction is detected, the TCM informs the PCM by sending a signal (P0700 code). P0700 means that a code has been set in the TCM.

This code is for information ONLY. If this code is present, check for transaxle codes.

P1776: Solenoid Switch Valve Latched in Low/Reverse Position. The TCM monitors the L/R solenoid to ensure that the fluid transfer happens. It uses a Pressure switch to verify this. Usually this code is set by a switch that is stuck or a solenoid that is not mechanically operating.

A transmission shop would be better suited for this type of work.
