My car starts and stalls - 1994 Honda Accord

Check crankshaft sensor.

what year, what engines. id dont even need a body to start car
just the engine and EFI parts. so engine is #1 (size)
name it
wont start at all , wont crank at all,
starts and misfires and stalls. or near stalls. (shakes)_?
starts and floods, and stalls. (park tips soaking in fuel test)
starts, but is lean and stalls.
ever do the 60 tune up's>

Non so to speak without writing a book
You just have to check for codes & start
a logical diagnostic process of testing
You input is critcal for a shop to understand the
reason your there
You do not won't a tunp-up or anything else
You only want the immediate problem diagnosed
& resolved
Becareful not all shop know a lot or can solve all issues
Be part of the solution don't just hand over the key & not
be there sometime due their work on your car
Ask questions & take notes

It can be low fuel pressure issue or clogged fuel pump. Or its engine related issues,---------------

sounds like you are dealing with either a bad crankshaft sensor in ignition coil(s)

Since the car stall only in the drive position, it sounds(i'm not there to actually ck the car)like when the engine torques, it might be pulling on a harness somewhere and killing the ignition. Do this,start the car and under the hood while the engine is running, move or jiggle the harnesses around and see if the car stalls. If the car stalls try to pinpoint the location on the harness and look for frayed or broken wires.

Sounds like the Idle Air Control Valve which is a dealer part.

if this a fuel injected car just check to fuel pressure first.
