The knock sensor is on the back side of the engine near the trans. It is round, with a 1 wire connector. You will have to get it from underneath. Good Luck.

Where is the knock sensor located on a 1997 2.4 Chevy Malibu?

It is at the back of the block, on the drivers side. It's a royal PITA to get at. Make sure you have a drain pan below it as you WILL lose coolant. After replacing, be sure to burp the cooling system.

Wereisp0327 nock sensor located on 2007 malbiu 4 cylinder engine

Off of the main engine harness in front of the engine, you'll find a lead that goes to the coolant temp sensor, and just after that a little lower towards the driver's side you'll find the Knock sensor lead.ac21663_1.jpg

Sounds like you didn't put the pushrods back in the proper locations. There are two different lengths in this engine and you may have one backwards

Dtc code p0121 and p2135 2007 chevy malibu

both codes refer to the throttle position sensor, the sensor is at the throttle plate, on the side of the throttle body. to test remove the connector to sensor, use a ohms meter to test. put 1 lead to top connection and the other to the bottom one. move throttle and the needles on the ohms meter should move very even, move throttle slow to get a good reading, needle should move without no hesitation, if the test is bad replace tps sensor. if the sensor gets to bad, it can have an effect on transmission shifting. after fixing sensor have the light turned of with an obd2 scanner.
