I need to replace drivers door window mechanism on 2004 BMW Z5.I don't know code, so cannot disconnect battery. Will removing airbag fuse disable air bag?

Z5 ?? Why do you need coding? The window mechanism is not coded to the car. Disconnecting the battery does not require any coding when you re-connect it, unless you have other problems as well. If you disconnect the airbag with the battery connected you will have to reset / code out the airbag fault.

How do I reset my code for my 2002 Daewoo nubira

You can either hook a scanner up to it and reset the codes or disconnect the battery for 10 minutes. As a warning if you have the factory radio you will need the code if you disconnect the battery.

Abs,tc&brake light stays on after changeing battery

I would disconnect the negative cable on the battery so it can reset the abs module, on these cars when you change the battery you need to have a 12 volt supply connected to your lighter before you disconnect the battery so there will be no reset on any of the modules in this vehicle.. if that don't do the trick you need to scan the abs system to see if you have any hard codes or just to reset it with the scanner.. abs is for antilock brake system and tc is for traction control they both work out of the same module

How to get check engine light off on a 1995 Saab 900S?

Pull the battery cables off and let them sit off for about 30secs. If the code comes back on after the battery is disconnected than that means you have a hard code and will have to have the car scanned and reset. There are two kinds of codes, hard and soft, hard codes need to be scanned and reset soft codes are simple issues that by disconnecting the battery the codes will go away.

I have two diagnostic codes that are waiting to reset, The Evap and Catalyst. How long till they reset?

Have you tried disconnecting the battery cable to reset. If the codes reset, but return after driven a little then the problem will have to be rechecked and find out if the evaporator needs replaced unless you have already fixed the problem. Sometimes the codes can be rest by the battery, but some will reset after driving 100 miles.

I have a 2005 town and country and code# P2097 just came out what this code mean

your post cat O2 sensor is reading too rich... try this, completely disconnect the battery, touch the wires together with a wrench for one minute, (THE BATTERY CABLES, NOT THE BATTERY!!!)

leave the battery disconnected for 30 minutes to one hour, hook the battery back up, start the vehicle, don't touch the throttle, brake or anything else for 5 minutes (if you have a garage don't forget to open the door)

turn off the vehicle and restart it, if the code doesn't clear itself then take it to an auto parts store, tell them you think you fixed the issue and need the code reset so you can be sure.

if the above steps don't work then you will need to take it to a dealer as there is some other reprogramming that they are able to do.

here are the steps they should follow, notice none of them include replacing an O2 sensor

they should check/clear the code.
reset the adaptation values.
do a "quick delete" before disconnecting communication between diagnostic equipment and car.
disconnect the battery from the car.
do a battery reset- touch both connectors that go to the battery posts with with a wrench for a minute.
let battery sit disconnected for 1/2 hour.
reconnect battery.
check to see if code is gone.

good luck

Is there any way to reset the check engine (obd)light on a 2002 dodge intrepid?

Two ways: 1. Disconnect the negative battery cable, then try to start - that will reset the light, but also reset the radio, clock, etc. 2. Go to an Autozone store. They will reset it for free and will even tell you the code that caused it.
