SOURCE: A/C blowing hot air in 2005 Lincoln LS

It could be the dccv or the evap. discharge sensor, driver's temp sensor or pass temp sensor. Without hooking up a tester to read pids there is no way to tell. I would recommend going to someone that has the ids tester to read pids. good luck.

Needs to be recharged and you more than likely have a leak somewhere

SOURCE: 2005 chevy 2500hd duramax driver side vents blow hot air

It sounds like the HVAC head needs to be recalibrated, most likely when you unhooked the battteries you lost the memory to the control head, it's in a default position/state.

What is the problem with my engine is always blowing hot air

If you mean the vents on the dashboard that are supposed to blow cold air if the air conditioning is on, and hot air if the heater is on, then here is a part answer, just for this problem I described.
No cold air could mean there is no gas in the air conditioning system.
The gas is called "freon" in the US, however we no longer use "freon" itself because of environmental poloution. We now use a substitute whose number is 134a.
There could also be some part failure preventing the air conditioning system from activating.
Some parts that fail could be the condenser, the evaporator, the receiver/dryer, one of the hoses or pipes, and the compressor.
A technician should be able to check all this out and give you a good answer.
God bless your efforts.

My bmw 116i is running rough, seems to be off a cylinder?

Hi

I would check firstly

1. Air pipes for any leaks, any rips or tears holes etc in the air system quite common on BMW's
2. Air mass sensor or MAF sensor, this regulates the fuel to air mixture and often the cause of many a fault on many modern cars.
3. ignition coils, or coils packs if they have got wet or too cold and condensed then they short out. In all honesty with all the snow we have been having I would think this the most likely cause of the 3.

If you need more help get back to me with more specific information about the running of the engine, how it idles accelerates etc.

Regards

Dan

Where is the oil filter located on the bmw 116i

right at the front in the middle below plastic housing. Has 1 large plastic cap on a metal lower casing, not metal bodied like old oil filters just has filter element. Also replace 'O' rings that should come with the new filter as the old will have squared off or become perished. I think you need a 27mm socket to undo the filer housing.
