Speedometer not working not shifting

you have to replace the whole cluster. might get lucky and find one in good shape at a pick a part but otherwise go to the dealership

2002 4 runner has a P0500 and the speedometer does not work, also abs light and brake light and traction light is on

Here is the definition of the code.
You replaced the sensor which is the easiest thing to do, now you will have to troubleshoot the circuit back to the computer. Note the reference to the combo meter in the circuit. You may want to research this online.

P0500 TOYOTA Description The vehicle speed sensor outputs a 4 pulse signal for every revolution of the rotor shaft, which is rotated by the transmission output shaft via the driven gear. After this signal is converted into a more precise rectangular waveform by the waveform shaping circuit inside the combination meter, it is then transmitted to the Engine Control Module (ECM). The ECM determines the vehicle speed based on the frequency of these pulse signals.

The speedometer dows not work: however the cable is in perfect working order.

you say the cable is in working order do you mean the outer cable is in good shape or have you pulled the inner cable out to inspect for frayed, twisted,or broken cable,if the inner cable is in good shape and no defects then with the cable in place but not connected to the speedometer head drive the car a little to have someone check to make sure the cable is turning as the vehicle is moving .if not then you may have a bad/damaged speedometer drive gear in the transmission, this is located were the cable attaches to the transmission.remove cable then remove the gear drive assembly from the side of the transmission(be sure the gear comes out with it)inspect the the plastic gear for any damage, inspect the gear inside the transmission that the gear is driven off of,turn the drive shaft making sure the gear turns and there is no damage to the gear as you are turning the drive shaft.if this is all okay then i would say that the speedometer head has a problem and needs to be replaced.

My speedometer quit but the odometer still works (1998 F150) can you solve this

Usually it's the opposite. The speedometer works and the odomater and trip meter go inop. Most likely the speedometer assembly is bad. If the odometer is working you have a signal from the gray and black wire .

My speedometer stop working, d light blinking and check comes out

These Accords have common problems with both the instrument clusters & the speedo drive Transducers. It is the Speedo Transducer I would head for first
though,it is located on the top rear of the transmission, over the diff assembly. This is in between where the driveshafts enter the transmission.
It is held in by 1 x 10mm bolt & has an electical connector clipped in to it which from memory has 3 wires. The connector is somewhat triangular in shape
& should be black. Check that this is not full of coolant from your recent thermostat change, however I doubt that this is the problem as they are sealed
pretty well. The chances are it is just faulty. This unit creates an electrical pulse which tells both the speedo & the transmission computer how
fast the vehicle is going. Without it the transmission computer will register a fault (D4 lamp flashing). It also informs the engine computer that there
is a problem which will activate the Check Engine Lamp.
