The message center receives power from several fuses, so it may not be a single fuse that is causing the issue. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
Check the owner's manual: The owner's manual will have a diagram of the fuse box and provide information on which fuses correspond to which components. This will help you locate the fuse(s) that power the message center.
Check the fuses: Remove each fuse one at a time and inspect them visually for any signs of damage or blown filaments. Replace any blown fuses with new ones.
Test the fuses: If all the fuses appear to be intact, you can test them with a multimeter to check for continuity. Place the multimeter probes on each end of the fuse and check for a reading. If there is no reading, the fuse may be faulty and need to be replaced.
Check for other issues: If the fuses are all intact and working properly, there may be another issue with the message center or the wiring leading to it. It's recommended to take your car to a qualified mechanic or dealership for diagnosis and repair.

OBSERVE the operation of the message center when pressing the TRIP/SELECT button. Does the message center display change when the TRIP/SELECT button is pressed?
If the message center display changes, the system is operating normally at this time.
If the message center display does not change, INSTALL a new instrument cluster. REFER to Section 413-01 . TEST the system for normal operation.
The message center is not operating correctly (high series instrument cluster)
There are only 2 possibilities with your problem. (1) Its possible you may not have power OR ground going to the message center. If you know someone that knows how to use a test light they could check power and ground at the message center. (2) The message center itself could be defective. If your friend finds power and ground at the message center then you'll need to replace the message center. If they do not find either power or ground at the message center. Then they'll need to check all the fuses to see which one is blown. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Leann.

check all fuses incase one is blown, if that isnt the case pull it out and verify the harness is properly attached to the message center, if that doesnt fix your problem, it may be a faulty device.
Make sure you check the owner's manual for "running your car after replacing the battery." There is a process to follow. Maybe this will solve your problem.
Go to your Junction box fuse panel on the lower left hand side under the dash and look for position #19...You should have a 10amp fuse. replace the fuse.
