Hi i have a question about this faulty code b279a tds

It is BLEND DOOR ACTUATOR that is faulty. This is a flap (or door) that changes the mixture of hot and cold air in the heating system for the car. If your heating or cooling is not operating properly then that is the reason. Sorry, but no idea how to fix it, but it just sounds as though it is an inconvenience rather than a must fix or the car will die situation.

could you confirm as OBD code sbegin with a P and have 4 numbers

This is the code for when the TCM goes faulty and cannot identify which gear has been selected . Other vehicles read the code as wrong ratio selected but the vehicle drives fine.. Take it to an accredited auto transmission shop for a check

Code 14: Igniter circuit, probably a faulty igniter
Code 26: Fuel mixture too rich, possibly a faulty coolant temperature sensor, or faulty oxygen sensor

the BMW is complicated since i had a similar problem with mine. the keypad is connected partly to the ECM and the TDS. the connector to the keypad partially gets corroded over time and wont send the correct signal to disable the alarm. Check the connection first. if it is fine. disconnect the power to the battery for 5 minutes to let the TDS reset and try again. if it fails then chances are the key pad is faulty
