How do you remove the rear bumper on Lexus Se300 2002

Hello. The rear fascia might have to come off to replace that lamp assembly. The wheel on whatever side that lamp assembly is broken and the inner splash shield has to be removed to remove and replace that assembly. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

Some fixya user told me a website reliable-store it is very good.. I used it to repair my shredder it had some spark issue which wasn't easily fixed. you can go there and try

1. Remove front bumper and grill assembly.
3. Remove 1 support bolt near front of reservoir.
5. Remove 2 reservoir mounting bolts.
7. Remove reservoir from vehicle to gain access to vacuum hose. Disconnect vacuum hose from reservoir fitting at rear of reservoir.
9. Disconnect electrical connector at relay.
11. Remove 2 relay mounting bolts and remove relay.

check and see if ground wire was removed during front bumper re-installation

if you mean the one that is on the rear bumper side just reach up inside and twist and the socket will come out

REMOVAL
1. Remove the LH and RH rear combination lamps.
2. Remove both the rear wheels and tires.
3. Remove the LH and RH splash shields.
4. Remove the rear bumper fascia clips and screws, then remove the rear bumper fascia.
5. Remove the rear energy absorbing foam.
6. Remove the rear bumper reinforcement.
7. Remove the rear bumper supports.
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

1. Remove rear combination light assembly. A. Remove two mounting screws. B. Disconnect electrical connector from rear side of light assembly. 2. Remove bumper assembly. A. Remove four fasteners and four retaining screws from top of bumper assembly. B. Remove mud flap from bumper assembly. C. Remove two screws from bottom of bumper assembly. D. Remove two screws from side of bumper assembly. E. Remove four bumper mounting bolts from under of vehicle. 3. Install rear bumper in reverse order of removal.

This may sound odd but if you can put a small person in the trunk with a flashlight while you pour water in the areas suspected, they can trace the leaking area, believe it or not I used to use this method while I was a Ford mechanic. Otherwise, maybe you can apply clear or black silicone to the area or remove the screw or bolt and coat it with silicone and replace it.
