Open the trunk and you'll see the screws when you remove the side covers. also from the outside are screws around the top of the wheel well. you should be able to figure it out from once you start.

Cooling fan stays at one slow speed as engine heats up fans never kick up speed to cool engine causing overheating I was told there was a relay under dash but I can't find it on this 1999 lexus es300

  1. Remove front bumper and grill assembly.
  2. Remove 1 support bolt near front of reservoir.
  3. Remove 2 reservoir mounting bolts.
  4. Remove reservoir from vehicle to gain access to vacuum hose. Disconnect vacuum hose from reservoir fitting at rear of reservoir.
  5. Disconnect electrical connector at relay.
  6. Remove 2 relay mounting bolts and remove relay.

Removal and Installation
REMOVAL
1. Remove the LH and RH rear combination lamps.
2. Remove both the rear wheels and tires.
3. Remove the LH and RH splash shields.
4. Remove the rear bumper fascia clips and screws, then remove the rear bumper fascia.
5. Remove the rear energy absorbing foam.
6. Remove the rear bumper reinforcement.
7. Remove the rear bumper supports.
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Lexus ES300 trunk leaks when it rains

This may sound odd but if you can put a small person in the trunk with a flashlight while you pour water in the areas suspected, they can trace the leaking area, believe it or not I used to use this method while I was a Ford mechanic. Otherwise, maybe you can apply clear or black silicone to the area or remove the screw or bolt and coat it with silicone and replace it.
