There is a fuse or a fuseable link intermittently between the battery and power distribution box. This is put there mainly for this reason. Check all your high amp fuses, circuit breakers, and fusible links. The fusible link is usually located within 12" of the positive cable coming off the battery. Good luck.

Hi, The fusible link is a WiRE with a connector socket. Most of the fusible link is located at the engine bay fuse box/relay.It is use as a main power source fuse for high amperage voltage.

If there is no power supply to the main terminal on the alternator then you have either a fusible link problem or a broken wire from the fusible link to the alternator.
You need to check continuity and also check the main fusible links, which look like wires just looped over.
