Check the starter solenoid and the connections from the battery to ground, battery to fusebox, ignition key switch, neutral or park safety starting switch, solenoid, and solenoid to starter. Make sure you have ignition key switch wires connected to the solenoid - without them - the solenoid can not close to send 12V to the starter.

I have a 1996 Ford Taurus GL and everything on the inside works my radio my lights everything but when I turn the key to try to fire up the ignition everything turns off I was told that it's possibly my...

It is normal for the accessories to go off when the ignition is in crank mode, if your starter is not cranking I would test and make sure you are getting power to the small post on the starter when the key is put into crank mode. If it is I would think it is time for a new starter. If it isn't then you need to look at the ignition switch.

Feul problem

Lots of things could cause a no-start, Hendrik. Is your "Check Engine" light on? If so, please have someone get the OBD error codes from the car's computer.

Does it crank but not fire?

If it doesn't crank, check the battery condition, battery connections, ground connections to frame and engine block, starter solenoid, starter motor.

If it cranks, doublecheck your fuel pump installation. Make sure the new fuel pump is properly connected and properly electrically grounded. Look for a fuel pump fuse. Check for proper fuel pressure at the fuel rail, check the fuel flow rate. Check for spark, check or replace spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor, plug wires. Check valve timing, replace timing belt or chain if necessary. Check compression.

Give this a shot make sure that the ground wire that connects to the engine and the fire wall did not burn into. If it did it will not charge may sound dumb but the engine must be grounded for the alternater to charge.

Replaced starter, alternater and battery car still drains battery. whats wrong?

First you can not test an alternator by disconnecting the battery cable. That is what we did back when cars had generators. Today you can fry the computer and alternator running the engine with the battery cable off.
Meanwhile, I would look for a fuseable link or main fuse problem. The alternator circuit may not be connected to the fuse box and battery.
