Cam sensor location 3.5 l V6 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

The camshaft position sensor on the 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe 3.5L V6 is located on the side of the engine block, just below the ignition coil packs. It is held in place with a single 10mm bolt. To replace it, you must remove the bolt and then unplug the wiring harness. Once the old sensor is removed, replace it with a new one and plug the wiring harness back in. Finally, reinstall the 10mm bolt and tighten it securely.

How to replace a valve cover gasket 2003 hyundai santa fe

Just take a picture of it with digital camera or phone. And start removing wires and hoses until they are all out of way of cover. Then remove the bolts all way around cover and pull straight up and it will come right off. If not use a flat head screw driver to prise it off. Clean old gasket off of valvecover and engine. then put it bak together. Tighten bolts slowly, start with ones in center ov it and work your way out. Just finger tight. Then snug, then torque em down. Not too tight as if tostrip the bolt or break it off. Cause it be very expensive. also write down everywhere each wire go's unless you can remember
