You connected the battery wrong way (Negative to positive and positive to negative)
you have blown fuses.
check you fuses and relays

Like you said, battery may be flat. You can check that with a multimeter.
Next check the alternator. Faulty alternator leads to uncharged battery.

jack front of car up clean around the coil spring where it sits on the shock absober probably do this with your fingers and a screw driver to clean the grit out, then squirt some oil on he bottom of the spring and where it sits on the shock absorber do the same with tho other side.might have to repeat every 3 months especially in winter
