The heater fan does not work sometimes when the fan should be on. Does the fan need to be replaced or could something else be wrong?


Cud b bad connect or its failn. Need to get toit for the test. Its a big project..so while ther..test heatr core and ac evaporator

Coolant is leaking. Was told it was the water pump, but a mechanic said that it was one of the smaller hose in the back beyond the engine. What is he talking about?


That hose goes to the heater core,their are 2 hoses,one going to it and the other leaving it,could be just the clamp is loose,tighten it and wipe up the coolant and check again after awhile,will need to add coolant to your reservoir.Here's a link to your heater core's hoses,it's number 9 on the picture. I replaced the heater core and the thermostac heatr started working after 2 weeks heater stop working fan works


Have you checked to see if the cooling system is full of liquid coolant and does not have any air pockets ?

What makes a heater work some times on a 1994 grand prix se when the heatr core and all the lines are clear and a new thermastat


try your switches. many time they get old and warm from use and may not be functioning all the time. try getting one from ebay or a junk yard.
