Power window working erratically

If the window just stops moving could mean the motor is bad. If the window looks and the motor sounds like it is struggling to move the window, would mean the cables inside of the door are off track or binding.

i've had this problem. i sprayed liquid silicon down the guides where the window slides, then work the window up and down a few times. it's better if you lift the window while you're pushing the power button.

Have a 96 honda accord. drivers window stoped working it has a new motor and i bought a new switch and still doesn't work. if I add direct power to thev green wire it works some how there is no power...

CHECK POWER WINDOW 20 AMP FUSE.ALL FOUR WINDOWS HAS A INDIVIDUAL FUSE YOU HAVE 4 FUSES. ONE FOR EACH WINDOW. CHECK FRONT LEFT FUSE OR FRONT RIGHT FUSE.

it happen with me also actually the problem is the power window get jammed from the inner part..... you if you able to open it just open now clean it well then spray the lube into it and for a long time it work properly..... thankyou

I have a 2002 Chevrolet Impala. My front driver's side power window began to struggle while trying to raise it. It soon stopped working and the other 3 windows stopped working as well (at the same time)....

hmm,switches are hard to check ,you sure?,if so check the wiring between the drivers door and the body,from the drivers door opening and closing more than the rest,sometimes the wires will break inside the rubber boot at the hinge area ,cut the boot and peek inside.

hi normally the fuses for the windows are grouped or 1 or 2 front and back. please check fuses, do's the window struggle to go down / up if so then this is a fuse, wondow motor may be faulty, electrical feed to this circuit may be broken. gerry

Windows go down but won't come up

either the window seal is putting to much pressure on window, but most likely the window motors are wearing out.
This always happens when motors wear out. They will go down fairly easy, but don't like to go up because of the pressure of the seals on a weakening motor, they strive/struggle to move up
