Where is camshaft sensor located on 2004 isuzu rodeo V6 3.5ltr

SENSORS (plural)
3.5L 4 cam engine? 6ve1? it has a real name BTW.
known real names makes help more easy and 10x buying parts.
on the 4 cam there are 2 CMP sensors on rear of heads

if scans say it's ok, then it's ok (if dead start?, crank for 5 full seconds,see DTC now? )
no symptoms stated,why?

lean that scan tools show history of DTC errors(if lucky)
and live errors
the live errors are what makes savvy diagnosis win.
use the scan tool and learn to use it,its not hard.

2002 Isuzu rodeo stop while driving wont start

Need more information. Could be fuel pump, fuel filter, crank sensor, cam sensor. Starter??

No fire on all coil packs Change crank sensor on 1995 izuzu trooper 3.2 litre

right front wheel arch, lift up rubber flap, look through to side of engine block and crank sensor is next to engine mount bracket

1999 rodeo wouldn't start has no spark I changed the crank sensor and the computer already still no spark

Check the wiring harness to the sensor and check the ignition control module.

I have a isuzu rodeo 2000 6 cyl 3.2 starting problem hard start .changed crank shaft sensor ,new plugs ,fuel filter timing belt starter.but the problem is still there help me please

I think you have an Injector leak down problem.

SWITCH ASM; POWER,IGN COIL 8-94474-294-2 Go to myisuzuparts.com and find this part number. This part is under the intake manifold. No crank sensor as is has a distributor. 8-94474-294-2 1 05-1990 to 08-1994

1995-96 Isuzu Rodeo transmission swapable?

No they are not compatible. They changed the crank between 95 and 96. I have a 96 that needed an engine swap and the dealer that I bought it from was paying for the engine, he bought a 95 engine and after a month of trying the mechanic said no way no how, the crank between the two is different.

Won't crank, will push start and runs fine.

make shure your baterie haves abaut 13 amps
then check your starter solenoid make shure that curent is geting there wen you turn the key

It's on the bottom of the motor, towards the back on the passenger side. It has a small clip of wires and one screw holding it on. You may want to pull it up on ramps- if it'll run- otherwise, get under the Rodeo, it's up a little higher than the oil pan, and to the passenger side. (it's right on top of the two lines that run to the bottom of the radiator.) You will need a 10mm socket to remove it. I have added a few pics showing the location (i just completed this task myself)
