There should be a not on the activator piston rod on the Master Cylinder inside the firewall with a lock nut. You could possibly have the same at the Slave Cylinder.

How to adjust the hydraulic clutch on a 2005 Suzuki grand vitara 4x4

Hi Lain,

The Hydraulic clutch on your Grand Vitara is non adjustable.
The hydraulic cylinder will self adjust/position itself as the clutch wears.
If your clutch pedal friction point is high or clutch is slipping you will require a new clutch kit and flywheel machine.

Cheers.

Does a nissan primera 1993 have a hydraulic clutch or cable either ither how do I adjust it? Also its crunching very bad in 1st & reverse & just starting to crunch in 3rd help please

Its fairly easy to determine if your clutch is hydraulic or cable. Check in the engine compartment against the firewall on the drivers side, and see if there are one or two hydraulic reservoirs side by side. If there are two, the far left one is for the clutch, and you have a hydraulic clutch.
If you have a cable clutch, the cable should be clearly seen by the side of the brake hydraulic reservoir, a rather thick cable running from the firewall to the bell housing area.
There are two possibilities for adjusting - the adjusting nuts are either at the point where the outer part of the cable enters the firewall to connect to the clutch pedal, or where the inner cable connects to the release bearing fork.
To adjust, release the outer nut (there should be two, one is a locknut) and take up the slack by screwing the other nut inward.
Make sure you don't overtighten the cable, this could lead to your clutch slipping and you will need to replace the clutch plate sooner.
A hydraulic clutch is usually not adjustable, so if you have a problem there, take it to a service station.
Have fun.

Clutch cable location

Hello siscabella, you may not have a clutch cable, most newer cars use a hydraulic clutch.
You should be able to call any parts store to confirm that your clutch is hydraulic.
Many prefer the old machanical clutch because you could adjust the cable to get more clutch, but, the hydraulic clutches are not designed so you can adjust it. If you have a weak clutch, you will most likely need a new clutch in the near future.
I hope that I've been helpful.

How to adjust a hydraulic clutch mazda protege 01 2 0L? or how do i change it by my self if the adjustment does not work?

With a hydraulic clutch there is no adjustment as the slave cylinder does that automatically by using the fluid.

97 Jeep TJ sport - Clutch Pedal has gone limp

It's possible your clutch fork broke. Also, check to see if it's a hydraulic clutch. You could have a leak in the hydraulic system. Both would cause your clutch pedal to go to the floor.

My clutch is slipping on my 1993 toyota truck. Are there adjustments I can make myself. I am fairly handy, but not a car repair expert.

Sorry, there are no adjustments on your vehicle., The clutch is activated via hydraulic pressure. The master and slave cylinders are "self-adjusting". If the clutch is slipping, you are going to need to pull the trans and replace the clutch assembly. Changing the hydraulics will not help a slipping clutch at all.

Thanks for choosing FixYa for advice!

Trying to figure out how to adjust the clutch on a 2005 Toyota Corolla style s

You car does not have an "adjustable" clutch. The Corolla uses a hydraulic clutch. The action of the hydraulics eliminates the need for adjustements. If the clutch is slipping, you may need to replace the clutch.
