What is the bypass code for a Clarion VX401

Try killing it's power source for 5 mins that's resets it maybe it will unlock and let you try again let me know if this works

Is the SECURITY light lit on the dash ? If so there is a problem with the anti- theft system . An a code is stored in what ever module controls it . There is a way to by-pass it . go to you tube an search GM VATS , Pass key , pass lock how to bypass .Or you can take it to a Chevy dealer or some other repair shop. Just depends on how much money you want to spend. And if you bypass the system your vehicle won't be protected from theft anymore !

You need to go through a Citroen dealer to get the code.

If it is the passlock, you will be getting a 'security' or similar light on your instrument panel. Then you can bypass the system fairly easily.
If you have a check engine light, Autozone or Advance Auto parts stores read them for free from the computer connection. You need an OBDII scanner to retrieve the engine codes.

THERE IS NO BYPASS FOR THIS SYSTEM. THE PASS LOCK SENSOR IS LOCATED IN THE IGNITION SWITCH HOUSING IN THE STEERING COLUMN AND HAS TO RECIEVE A SIGNAL FROM THE ROTATION OF THE IGNITION SWITCH TO ENABLE STARTUP. IF IT IS SETTING A B2960 CODE OR SOMETHING RELATED TO PASS LOCK SENSOR IT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AND REPROGRAMMED. THERE IS A MANUAL PROCEDURE FOR THIS SHOULD YOU DECIDE TO REPLACE IT.

Yes you can by-pass the EGR valve. The only problem is that when it comes down to getting it smogged it will not pass. So that should be considered before bypassing the system. If you still want to by-pass the system let me know and I will tell you how to do it. But again it will not pass smog without it working properly
