SAFELY RAISE SUPPORT FRONT OF VECHICLE ON JACK STAND MAKE SURE VECHICLE PARKED ON SOLID LEVEL GROUND. REMOVE WHEEL OR TIRE. REMOVE BALL JOINT STUD PINCH BOLT AND NUT FROM THE STEERING KNUCKLE.REMOVE BALL JOINT BY PRYING IT FROM THE KNUCKLE.REMOVE BALL JOINT TO LOWER CONTROL ARM BOLT AND NUT. INSTALL NEW BALL JOINT TO LOWER CONTROL ARM.TORQUE THE BOLT TO 86 FT LBS INSTALL BALL JOINT TO THE STEERING KNUCKLE TORQUE BOLT TO 43 FT LBS YOU MORE LIKELY NEED FRONT END REALIGNMENT AFTER THE JOB DONE.

Its easier to replace complete control arm it will have new ball joint and control arm bushings.and its cheaper in the long run. however u can replace ball joints on car ,if u need procedure let me know

You need new ball joints and perhaps a steering rack also, how many miles on the car? If your lucky the ball joints might fix the steering problem

Replace boll joints ASAP.

Ball joints just dont "fall off". Ball joints should be easily available. I'm sure the dealer can get any part you need. You may need other pieces. Have a RELIABLE shop check it over, your life is at risk, dont try cheap fixes.

The squeeks would definately be the ball-joint.

I had the same problem few weeks ago till I changed my ball joint.

yes you can fix it and it is easy. i just finished doing the job and it took me under 3 hours. rent the tool from (ball joint presser) from a local auto parts place. make sure you get the kit with a lot of accessories. you dont have to take off the control arm. once you initially unseat it it moves out easily. you might have to readjust the tool if it bottoms out.
