the chime can be from a few systems that may have a fault going on --seat belt female connection -seat weight switch-turn indicator left on - low fuel-door open -air bag -lights left on -etc
Just a thought , is the indicater still in the turn position, this will operate the parking light so the beeps are letting you know the lights are on, if not make sure all windows and sunroof are completely closed , disconnect the battery a wait for the power to drain down for a few minutes before reconnecting, this may reset any malfunction, otherwise get the OBD read as may give a code to the problem

We experienced an intermittent problem where the entire audio system on our new 2013 Kia Sorento would fail to turn on at all after a brief stop (at a thruway rest area) on a long trip. When it happened twice the dealer replaced the entire unit and we had been trouble free for almost a year when my daughter reported something flaky happening to the radio recently again. I am keeping me eyes on this problem once again.
