Check engine light on 2005 chevy colorado code p1133

This code is for insufficient switching of the oxygen sensor. Make sure you don't have any other codes, misfires, vacuum leaks and/or exhaust leaks as these will affect O2 readings. Here is some more info I found on the web. http://m.engine-light-help.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.engine-light-help.com%2Fgm-trouble-codes.html#3331

I recently had the manifold intake gasket replaced on my 01 grand am. approx 40 miles after it threw a code for bad bank 1 o2 sensor which we replaced, then it gave a code for bad catalytic convertor. We...

It's an o2 sensor code. So you more than likley have burnt wires associated with that o2 sensor.
P1133 = O2 Sensor Fault - Insufficient activity (Bank 1 , Sensor 1)You remove the negative battery connection from the negative battery terminal for 10 minutes.

You ALWAYS reset your computer when you do sensor swaps, when fixed erase code, and see if it stays out. your pcm is getting the wrong info from sensor. good-day !

Check engine light came on with code P1133. front oxygen sensor. Replaced sensor, light is still on. Does it have to be reset?

My book says ( GM ) P1133 - HO2S/O2S Insufficient Switching Sensor 1 Or Bank 1 Sensor 1
Be that as it may - to clear the codes in your computer - disconnect the battery for a couple of minutes and see if that clears the codes. Let me know. Thanks

Leave 02 sensor alone ,it is doing it's job . It is heated up because of lean fuel mixture due to incorrect engine temp.,replace thermostat before looking further.

P1133 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Insufficient Switching Bank 1 Sensor 1
I would have the repair shop see if they either damaged or left disconnected the oxygen sensor for engine cylinder bank one upstream sensor, this sensor would have been disconnected if the oil pan was removed.
